Upkari Nath Tripathi

Founder and Director

Mr Upkari Nath Tripathi is the founder and director of the DSUN BIKE. He has earlier worked for Tata BP Solar, Tata Power Solar Systems Limited handled more than 1000MW Solar PV Projects across India.

He was ACARA Fellow in 2011 University of Minnesota USA .He has completed MDP –Project Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad , M Tech from TERI School of Advanced Studies. He has a keen interest in identifying common man’s problems and addressing with them sustainable and environmental friendly solutions.

Martand Shardul

Co Founder

Mr Martand Shardul is the Cofounder at DSUN BIKE

He is also working as Policy Director at Global Wind Energy Council and leading wind energy Policy regulation across India.

Earlier he was worked as the Network Coordinator for South-Asia at UNSDP SDSN –Youth. He has played a vital role in flagship program Lighting a Billion Lives and several other activities as a Fellow at TERI.

Rahul Raju Dusa

CIO

Mr Rahul Raju Dusa is the Chief Innovative Officer. He is also associated with Danish Energy Agency. He has donned the roles of Senior Expert-Energy Efficiency at UNEP DTU Partnership, Denmark and a Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, GoI Certified Energy Auditor at The Energy and Resources Institute, India. He has supported several national and state governments of Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin American countries on climate change mitigation actions.

He loves to travel. He is also passionate about running and endurance cycling. He has completed Manali-Leh-Khardungla Cycling Expedition (560 km, 5359 m highest altitude) and Great Malnad Challenge (900 km, 1930 m highest altitude).

His passion to cycling and his experience on international cycling infrastructure, cycle design and technologies helps in identifying the local needs and plug the gaps by infusing a fresh perspective through DSUN BIKE’s products.

Nirmal Singh

VP - Operations

Mr Nirmal Singh is the Vice President – Operations at the DSUN BIKE. He has worked in different roles across different capacity in Indian Oil Corporation Limited . He is having approximately 40years of experience in Petroleum Products supply chain operations.

Taufiq Khan

Head – Technology

Mr Taufiq Khan is the head Technology at the DSUN BIKE.

He brings our designs and ideas to life. He has over 40 years of experience in two wheeler and bicycle industry.
